We've been hosting summer and winter groups for over 30 years...Our lodge is designed with groups in mind. We have 110 beds. A large portion of our 7,000+ sq. ft. is devoted to common areas for the exclusive use of our guests.
Boy Scouts stay with us one or two nights before going to Philmont in order to acclimatise to the altitude, white water raft the Rio Grande and visit the Taos pueblo.
Girl Scouts stay with us before or after a multi night camping trip in the Carson National Forest.
School Groups stay with us while they learn about the Art, History and Nature of Taos.
College Groups stay with us to explore the Architecture or Geology of the area or Raft or Rock Climb.
Church Groups stay with us for all of the above reasons and to explore faith and get to know eachother and to offer service to the community.

Our six large dorm rooms open into the main common area which hosts a piano, pool table, and fireplace.
Each of the dorm rooms has its own bathroom and shower room, so there is no need to go outside your room to use the facilities.
Our dining room just off the main area, can also be used as a meeting room.
Group leaders love the SnowMansion layout because of its safe environment and ease in chaperoning their groups.

The SnowMansion is in a destination location and space is limited, hence our firm cancellation policy.
*A 50% deposit is required to hold reservation
*The balance is due at Check-In
*For cancellations made 80 days or more (100 days or more for Holiday Periods) prior to arrival, 20% of the deposit amount will be kept as a cancellation fee.
*For cancellations made between 30 and 80 (30 and 100 days for Holiday Periods) days prior to arrival the entire 50% deposit will be kept.
*For cancellations made 30 days or less prior to arrival, the full cost of stay will be charged.
*Adjustments down of numbers in the group are considered a cancellation for the number of beds the reservation is reduced by.
*Holiday Periods are 12/25 - 1/2, March 7th to March19th, Memorial Day Weekend, Labor Day Weekend
