About HI-Taos (the SnowMansion)
HI-Taos - The Abominable SnowMansion is an outdoor-oriented facility boasting spectacular views of northern New Mexican sunsets,the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range and occasional evening coyote choruses that can be heard on the neighboring Taos Pueblo Indian Reservation.
We are located in the heart of the picturesque Spanish village of Arroyo Seco - conveniently located between the historic Town of Taos and the Taos Ski Valley.
We are a 60-year-old classic adobe lodge with a large lobby perfect for large groups and family vacations. There is a pool table, lots of toys and books for children, a piano and a fireplace to warm up next to after an invigorating day at the Ski Valley.
We feature large dorm rooms, spacious private rooms with private baths and private rooms to pitch your own tent. All accommodations include kitchen, shower and toilet facilities.
